Harrison Blackman is a writer and journalist. At Princeton, he took a journalism course that brought him to Lesbos in 2016, where he witnessed the migration crisis firsthand. Nobles writes across genres including Southern Gothic horror, folk horror, magical realism, historical fiction, and local history. His work includes Chalk Mountain, Stories of a Different Dark, Dead Cat Bounce, and We’ re for Smoke. A recipient of the Will Rogers Medallion Award and a Pushcart nominee, his short fiction has appeared widely in literary magazines and anthologies. A sixth-generation Texan born in Fort Worth, he now lives in Dallas. River Clyde is a survivor of mental illness and a storyteller shaped by a life lived across borders. Born in Scotland, he’ s called several European countries home before settling in the USA. His experiences— of isolation, self-discovery, and constant change— fuel his unflinching, chaotic, and darkly humorous writing. Richard Mischinski is a retired multiple award winning English teacher, administrator, and writing coach. He has taught AP English and Composition for over forty years. He served as division head for two secondary private schools, and has considerable experience presenting to colleagues and national audiences. He also has written and edited for smaller publications. He is currently a writing tutor and lives in Roanoke, Virginia.
