Peter Dauvergne, University of British Columbia

The Handbook of Global Climate and Environment Policy brings together many of the world’s leading scholars in to provide 28 authoritative yet accessible reviews of the state of the art in the field. A superbly edited volume that will become a crucial resource for students, policy practitioners and scholars alike.
Frank Biermann, VU University Amsterdam and Lund University

There are three good reasons why this Handbook should be the first port of call for anyone interested in global climate and environment policy. First, it is a written by a stellar cast of researchers at the top of their game. Second, it is coherently structured to enable a quick and easy navigation of the contributions. Third, it is thoroughly comprehensive in going well beyond a purely state-centric focus to include a rich variety of new policy initiatives by non-state actors. It also explores the intricate connections between global climate and environment policy and international political economy. This Handbook will provide not only the student but also the experienced scholar and practitioner with a definitive and commanding view.
Robyn Eckersley, University of Melbourne
