I am a 57 year-old husband, parent, grand-parent, and retired Social Studies teacher. I came up with the idea of a history-mystery book for kids during my first year of teaching. I just finished the second book in the B.T. and Jimmy Adventure Series. It's called, "The Mystery of the Brick Kingdom," and it's bigger and better than the first! My books contain elements of real-life history and share important life lessons about perseverance and overcoming adversity. Kids and adults who have read these books love their fast pace, excitement, and B.T.'s efforts to overcome his own personal hardships. I feel like these stories need to be heard to help people who are struggling, for whatever reasons. In my 30 years of teaching in a disadvantaged area, I've seen so many youngsters who could benefit from these stories, and I would love to share my books with you.
