Author, Mickey "Mick" Bogerman has lived in Beachwood, North Carolina all his 12-year-old life. His home is a two-bedroom apartment he shares with his Mom, Molly Bogerman, and his younger brother Finley. Mick is responsible for keeping watch over his brother while his Mom works. Mostly he tries to stay out of trouble, but mostly trouble seems to find him anyway. He has a knack for antagonizing scary creatures and girls, not necessarily in that order. Mick''s favorite subjects in school are science (slime, rockets, bugs, and rocks-- what''s not to like?), gym class (running, climbing, throwing-- more stuff to like), and reading (yay Mr. Corcoran lets him read whatever he likes-- like comic books). Speaking of comic books, Mick''s favorites are X-Men, Demon Knights, Spiderman and Batman.

In her free time she teaches and entertains adults and children in painting classes in Lubbock, Texas where she lives and works. The artwork she creates is mostly surreal, anatomical fantasy done in digital and traditional media. She finds beauty and humor behind the things that make many people squeamish.

Selected by San Francisco Book Review as one of their "Tweens Must-Read New-Release Books" April 2015 We are proud to announce that HOW TO DESTROY THE NEW GIRL'S KILLER ROBOT ARMY by Mich Bogerman is a B.R.A.G.Medallion Honoree. This tells a reader that this book is well worth their time and money!--IndieB.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree December 2015. "How to Destroy the New Girl's Robot Army . . . it's clean, it's cute, it's a good read for young boys, but I think girls can enjoy the series just as much . . . I love the Slug Pie collection and can't wait for the next installation. It's a great way to introduce my kids to the same love of books that I have enjoyed throughout my entire life." Jesse Larsen, for Luxury Reading at LuxuryReading.com. "This book takes a slightly different turn as more characters enter the fray and Mick is forced to deal with not only his own poor behaviour, but an entirely non-organic fear-inducing monster. The reader gets to find out a bit more about Mick's school in this one and there's a definite sense of menace as the monsters in this story break into the Bogerman sanctuary. . . I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment in this refreshingly original and highly engaging series. Highly recommended."
