By combining texts, drawings, sculptures,\r\n and installations with sounds, scents as well as elements such as wind,\r\n warmth, and light, KOO's installations and spatial interventions create\r\n formidable immersive experiences and, more importantly, transformative \r\nsensual encounters with and between the visitors. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor the 60th Venice Biennale the artist will transform the cylindrical steel building of the Korean Pavilion into \u003cem\u003eODORAMA CITIES,\u003c\/em\u003e an  immersive scent journey that represents different rural areas, towns, \r\nand cities in South and North Korea. The contribution will create a \r\ncaptivating environment of intimacy and national portrait of the Korean \r\npeninsula. \u003cbr\u003eThe publication accompanying the exhibition includes texts by Frank Boehm, \r\nSooyon Lee, Lee Young June, Jessica Morgan, Luca Turin, Kyung Jin Zoh, \r\npoems by Kim Hyesoon, Kim Namjo, Eva Tind, an interview by Grégory \r\nCouderc (with Jean-Claude Ellena), an interview by Hans Ulrich Obrist \r\n(with KOO JEONG A), and an introduction by the Artistic Directors \r\nSeolhui Lee and Jacob Fabricius.
