İ. Aytaç Kadioglu is Head of the School of Public Administration and Assistant Professor of Politics and International Relations at Adıyaman University. He completed his PhD in International Relations at the University of Nottingham (2013–17) and has published articles in the Journal of Politics and Development, Studies in Conflict & Terrorism and Journal of Conflict, Security & Development, amongst others.

A fascinating comparative look at two peace processes with much in common. Kadioglu demonstrates that there is a lot to learn from understanding how negotiations, both formal and informal, helped shape the landscape of conflict and peace in Northern Ireland and Turkey.
