Headquarters and Companies A, B, D, E, F, G, H, I, K and M left Jacksonville Sept. 2 and reached Pablo Beach, Fla, the same day, and established camp. Company G remained at rifle range; Company C remained at the former regimental camp; Company L had been at Pablo Beach on provost duty for some time previous. \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eOwing to the large number sick with typhoid fever, on Sept. 20, 1898, the regiment left Florida and arrived at Sea Girt Sept. 22, as per orders from the War Department, to be mustered out. Later in the day each company left for its respective home quarters. \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eThe regiment assembled again Oct. 12 at Sea Girt.
