The Population of Dreams opens it heart and arms to the reader. Accessible language, relatable encounters, the point and counterpoint of present and past, the haunting presence of the past in the present, serve to take the reader for a long ride from here to there, from now to then, and back. The poetry reads like still pictures taken from motion picture films, searches for order in disorder, and seeks make sense of the unthinkable.
