William (Bill) Calderwood, Ph.D., born in N. Ireland, came to Canada as a young man. A pastor of many years' experience, he was the first pastor of River of Life Community Church, Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and currently serves as Pastor Emeritus. Dr. Calderwood is a Bible School graduate of Eston College, Saskatchewan, and hold degrees from the University of Saskatchewan in history and theology (B.A., M.A., B.D.) and from the University of London, England, in history (Ph.D.). He and his wife, Maidra, reside in Lethbridge and have three married children and seven grandchildren. During their many years of ministry in Lethbridge, they have also served in numerous overseas projects and missions.
