The tale The Story of Aladdin or the Magic Lamp is one of the magical tales included in the collection One Thousand and One Nights. Aladdin, the wayward son of Mustapha the tailor, who roamed the streets for days and did not know any trade, was destined to find the magic lamp and face the evil plans of the African sorcerer.
