This book is a graphic novel adaptation of Anne of Green Gables. The story is about Anne, who is a brave and imaginative red-haired girl who gets adopted by a family who originally wanted a boy. Anne makes a best friend, Diana, and gets into really funny trouble like dyeing her hair green! She slowly becomes part of the Green Gables family.

I liked this book because the pictures and speech bubbles made it funnier and way easier to read than the original Anne of Green Gables book. My dad bought me this book before we travelled to Cavendish Beach in Prince Edward Island (the setting for the original book). Our trip was so fun! I tried reading the original book first, but it was difficult to read because of the old-fashioned language. I think other kids might like it too because of the nice pictures, it’s easy to read, and it is full of friendship, laughter, and adventures.
