Boom Spiced Chili Salt

Our one-of-a-kind sauces and seasonings are designed to be pantry shortcuts: single ingredient flavour-boosters that home cooks of any skill level can add to whatever recipe you’re making — just add Zing (and if you want, nothing else, not even salt!) to season any protein, veg, or carb for restaurant-worthy meals in a flash! Our products are made by chefs in Toronto. Boom is third-culture cooking at its best. The name and base recipe is an ode to Gun Powder, a toasted lentil and chili spice blend (also called "podi") popular in South India with the addition of smoky chillies from Mexico. This savoury, nutty pantry shortcut features a blend of chilis like Chipotle, warm spices, and toasted coconut. Try it with: Roast veggies (it's great with squash or pumpkin!), as a dry rub, sautéed shrimp, with potatoes, to season popcorn, in rice, and more! Boom mixed in with melted butter on anything is dynamite! Ingredients: Lentils, Sea salt, Dried chilli peppers, Spices, Desiccated coconut, Garlic powder, Naturally sourced citric acid Heat: Medium (lower than Sriracha!)
