Awesome read

"This is a strong christian defense for boundaries. While some parts are outdated, the arguments are strong and consistent"

I wish I read this book 20 years ago. . .

"I constantly stopped to think, reflect, and reread passages; as such it took me longer to get through. Over the last couple months when chatting with friends, I frequently found myself saying, ""the book I'm currently reading deals with that"", which makes me think that it would be a helpful read for a lot of other people as well. The book is written from a Christian perspective, as a compassionate guide for anyone who gives so much of themselves that they put aside their own feelings and limits, and how to deal with the guilt that can accompany drawing that line. I didn't find the book to be preachy, and I believe that anyone can find a lot useful insight from this book, regardless. I'm already looking forward to reading it again!"

Amazing book!

"This is such a good book taking a Biblical perspective to boundaries, not only in family but also to personal boundaries. I can't recommend this book enough!"

Everyone needs boundaries…

"This book is a great study for Christians in how to set healthy boundaries, something most people struggle with (especially in churches). I have found this book to be best used in a small group setting, rather than as an individual study, but its message is still powerful."

Learning

"Definitely provided context for me to set up boundaries not only in personal life but at work. While it will be a challenge it’s something I need to do"

Rhonda (4/5)

Better than expected

"This book was a recommendation. When I first started reading the book I was a bit taken back by high degree of biblical references within the book. I do feel that the book provide some great concrete concepts for anyone, regardless of they are spiritual."

Life-changing!

"I have wanted this book ever since I saw a video about it on youtube by one of the lifestyle content creators I watch. I must say, this book has helped me so much as someone who has struggled with setting boundaries my whole life. As a believer, I liked the biblical references and how it was written from a Christian perspective."

Elle (5/5)

Helpful

"An easy read and I like the examples provided. I’m not a very religious person and I was expecting this to be from a religious perspective but I feel like it’s done very well that even people like me who aren’t that religious will get some good info out of it."

''I''ve heard a myriad of sermons on Christian servanthood that never discussed the value of saying ''NO!'' in order to confront in love or to provide space to recharge the batteries. ''Boundaries'' is the ''Untold Story'' -- the other side of love and servanthood that we need so desperately but that we hear so little about.'' -- Howard G. Hendricks, Chairman
