“Consider a book that makes everybody, and I do mean everybody, laugh from the cover onwards. THAT, my friends, is a picture book worth celebrating! That is a rarity! That… is Don’t Trust Fish.” —Betsy Bird, Fuse #8, School Library Journal

“Starting from an already comedic premise, this story goes gleefully off the rails, moving from funny to absolutely and wonderfully absurd, helped along by illustrations that build on jokes in previous spreads.” The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books

Beautiful artwork, hilarious book!

"Indigo is always my go-to for unique books for my nephew. This book was a staff-pick at one of our nearby stores & I’m glad it caught my eye. I haven’t gifted my nephew this book yet, but I can already hear his giggles & see his gleaming smile while reading this over and over again."

A must buy!!!!

"What a great read. . . . we listened to the audio book first and my 11 year old Autistic daughter laughed OUT LOUD. Now anytime someone says ""Fish"" she says ""DONT TRUST FISH"". We now bought it for her for Christmas"

AshK (5/5)

Don't Trust Fish is an absolute perfect title for this hilarious book

"This book was originally for my younger brother, but has now been a gift for the entire family. It is the prefect book for a good laugh, and works with all ages truly."

Trust Don't Trust Fish to be a great gift.

"Don't Trust Fish is a clever and funny book for the 3-5 set. Beautifully illustrated too!"

Anne M. (5/5)

This is HILARIOUS.

"I was skeptical, especially because this was one of those pushed at the checkout books, but I am so amused. It has a lot of factual information about fish, but it's presented in such a way that 1. It makes you laugh and 2. It's more engaging than just a non fiction information book. Seriously, I love this thing. I literally laughed out loud reading this in the middle of a mall hallway."

Katheryn (5/5)

Funny Book

"For a children’s picture book (ages ~3-7) I’d say Don’t Trust Fish is a highly recommended pick, especially when you want something funny, clever, and a bit wacky for read-aloud. “This is the funniest, most unhinged picture book I’ve read in a few years."

Aleks (5/5)

This book is delightful

"when I grabbed this book for a gift for a child’s bday party I knew it was probably going to be a hit because of the drawings. I recognized the name of someone who works on Gerald and Piggy books. The content of the book is very cute though and I was told later that the book has become a bedtime favorite for the 5 and 3 year olds to whom it was gifted."

Kim M. (5/5)

"What a fantastic book for littles, funny, & educational, love it!"
