Reviews

One of my favorite series

"I'll never regret buying this series. Anyone who enjoys fantasy would love this. It's not too romance-y, which I appreciate very much, but tue romance aspect of it definitely makes the story that much better and suspenseful."

Brookelle (5/5)

🌟🌟🌟🌟

"This book was amazing! Full of the exciting, acedemic adventure in the first book! I loved the venture into Wendell's kingdom and the hilarious grudge he holds the whole book! This book is a must continue to the first!"

Thewonggurl (4/5)

Wonder-filled!

"Just as wonder-filled as Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries! Loved it and can't wait for the third book in February."

Sarie (5/5)

Great Continuation

"Everything I loved about the first book. Keeps the cozy vibes while still adding lots of excitement :)"

Sheer magic

"Excellent read, you get pulled into Emily’s world and she takes you on a beautiful adventure. I loved every minute of it"

Nash (5/5)

Great but not as great as the first

"I enjoyed this book, but there was a stunning lack of Wendell, I guess since he would make most of the plot too easy."

Eeee (5/5)

Cozy fae adventure

"This is such a fun cozy read. It has the type of classic fae folk that I really enjoy."

Linzi (5/5)

Best fairy magical series ever!

"I love this series!! So looking forward to her next book. Both the first and second book are amazing. It’s like getting lost ( in a good way ) into a whole different world and you never want it to end. Easy to read and just so magical!"

Katelyn (5/5)

Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands

"Love this series! I am thoroughly enjoying this book. Loved the first one and was happy to discover there was a second one available. Now there will be a third and I am looking forward to getting that one too."

“Like all good fairy tales, this book is enchantingly charming, with hints of razor-sharp teeth. My only complaint is that it ends; I want to live in Emily’s Otherlands forever.”—Kiersten White, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Mister Magic

“Readers will be pleased that curmudgeonly Emily hasn’t lost too much of her edge, but she’s still susceptible to unexpected bonds of friendship.”Booklist, starred review

“Upping the danger and the darkness while still retaining all the beauty of the prose, this takes Emily’s story to new heights.”Publishers Weekly

“Love can change a person—or a faerie—in the most unexpected of ways, and it’s impossible to walk alongside Emily on her journey of scholarship, mapmaking and true love without rooting for her.”BookPage

“Wilde is a fantastic character: frosty and reserved, but also generous and kind. . . . In many ways, the second Emily Wilde book is even more compelling than the first.”The Washington Post
