A twist on fairy tales and science

"My niece loved this book, and her excitement for it actually got her older brother to sit and read it. I think he was impressed that it wasn't a typical fairy story."

Sarah (5/5)

Magically curious

"Silly and funny. A great blend of science and magic."

Cassie (5/5)

Great science book

"We love this book! Great way to explain a little science to our toddler without too much over explanation"

Melanie (5/5)

Believe in magic. Trust science. Verify by having fun exploring both methods.

"Wonderful children's book. Well written, beautiful story, terrific illustrations that will please any child who loves to learn and is curious about the world around them. Purchased as a gift for 2 yr old, and would recommend book for child between JK to Grade 3 level. Believe in magic. Trust science. Verify by having fun exploring both methods."

Fairies and Science… what more could you want?

"This is a cute book, I love the illustrations. A fun way to introduce science."

Jessica (4/5)

Funny and empowering book

"This is a lovely story about a fairy who loves science while the other fairies are focused on magic. It is a funny and inspirational read for young children about acceptance of differences and respect for others' beliefs. It carries an empowering message about how it's okay to be different and like different things. I bought this book for a just-turned-4 year old and I think the text might be a little advanced for that age but it is still engaging and is a message that she will grow to understand more as she gets older and continues to read the book."

Louise (5/5)

Adorable

"It’s a very cute book for kids that blends magic and science. The perfect choice for my preschooler who loves fairies and science!"

Megs (5/5)

Author and illustrator ASHLEY SPIRES grew up in Tsawwassen, B.C. and after stints living in Toronto and Saskatoon, she now lives in Ladner, having made an educated decision to never move from B.C. again. When not drawing, she is often jogging with her dog Gordon or cuddling her growing brood of cats.
