Perfect for any Fallout fan who also likes to cook and bake

"This was given to me as a gift, and I've been thrilled with it. I'm just a casual home cook/baker and was very happy to discover that the recipes did not call for a lot of fancy tools/equipment or technical know-how. I was also happy to discover that it's not just a novelty cookbook, the recipes call fo items you can easily find at a well-stocked grocery store. While it seems most of the recipes are merely ""regular"" foods with the modern day protein (such as chicken, or crab) ""crossed out"" with a Fallout equivalent written in, which is still charming, fans will absolutely enjoy crafting genuine Nuka Cola, a Perfectly Preserved Pie, sweet rolls, Salisbury Steak, and more. I'm looking forward to cooking many more recipes. The introduction section suggests folks with certain dietary restrictions or preferences merely sub out at their own discretion, but based on what I've already prepared and the other recipes I have read, personally I would say it's not really vegan or vegetarian friendly. I also found that some ingredients had to be substituted for a Canadian equivalent (e. g. ""heavy cream"") and a number of measures needed to be converted (e. g. weight amounts given in ounces). Not a big problem when there's the internet, just something to be aware of."
