To enjoy free shipping on eligible orders, please select "Free Standard Shipping" at checkout. Parcels eligible for free shipping are usually delivered in 1-9 business days, depending on stock availability, warehouse location and shipping destination.
- Offer applies only to orders of merchandise, excluding gift wrap charges and taxes. Promotional coupons, irewards discounts and plum point redemptions where applicable will be deducted from your item subtotal and may affect your order's Free Shipping eligibility. The purchase of gift cards and electronic gift cards do not count towards the Free Shipping offer.
- Certain items are not eligible for Free Shipping based on their size. Items that are not eligible for Free Shipping will be noted on item pages.
- Items shipping to some remote postal codes are not eligible for Free Shipping.
- Cancelling items may affect your order's eligibility for Free Shipping.

General: Most items may be returned for a full refund up to 30 days from the purchase or in the case of delivery from the shipping date with proof of purchase. In order to make sure you have as much flexibility as you need to shop with us for all your gifting needs, we've extended our returns policy. Online orders with a shipping date between September 15, 2025, and December 12, 2025 can be returned in store or online up until January 11, 2026.

Guaranteed Great Reads Eligibility: Items identified as Heather's Picks, Staff Picks of the Month, or promoted online and in stores as Indigo's Best Books of the Year, may be returned at any time and in any condition for a full refund or exchange with proof of purchase. Indigo.ca returns more than 30 days after purchase must be returned to any Chapters, Indigo, IndigoSpirit, or Coles store. We reserve the right to modify or to cancel the terms of this guarantee at any time and without further notice.

There are two paths available to our customers for returns that meet the above terms.
1. Return to Any Chapters, Indigo or Coles Store
Bring the item(s) and the packing slip to any store and we'll be happy to apply the refund to your original payment card or online account.
2. Return Your Item Through Canada Post:

We ask that you please return your item in store or print your label now and wait until the strike is over to drop it off with Canada Post.
