The bestselling LitRPG Fantasy, Action Adventure phenomenon, He Who Fights With Monsters, is now available in print as a hardcover and widely distributed for the very first time with He Who Fights With Monsters Vol. 1: Outworlder
What’s it like to wake up in a mysterious world of magic and monsters?
It’s not easy.
For Jason, making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer is surreal. Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil.
He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.
He Who Fights with Monsters cemented itself as one of the best-rated novels on Royal Road of all time, with an astonishing 13 million views and has sold staggering numbers of both eBooks and audiobooks. Now, He Who Fights with Monsters gets a new life and levels up with a deluxe hardcover!
About the series: Experience an isekai culture clash as a laid-back Australian finds himself in a very serious world. See him gain suspiciously evil powers through a unique progression system combining cultivation and traditional LitRPG elements. Enjoy a weak-to-strong story with a main character who earns his power without overshadowing everyone around him, with plenty of loot, adventurers, gods and magic. Rich characters and world-building offer humor, political intrigue and slice-of-life elements alongside lots of monster fighting and adventure.

Damaged during shipping due to poor packing
"My review isn’t a reflection of the book itself. I’ve listened to the entire series on Audible already, and the books are phenomenal. I love the styling and artwork of the book, but for something that was pre-ordered months ahead and an Indigo exclusive… you would think they’d take better care with shipping. Specifically the packaging. There was no padding at all, and the box wasn’t even sealed when the UPS driver handed it to be. One end of the box was already open, and the slip cover for the book arrived bent and torn. Extremely disappointed."

Love this series!
"I love these books! I have listened to the audiobooks many times. I know not very descriptive but it's worth the read."

Travis Deverell, A.K.A. Shirtaloon, was working on a very boring academic paper when he realised that writing about an inter-dimensional kung fu wizard would be way more fun.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
To his surprise and delight, Deverell found a warm and welcoming audience in the world of online serialized fiction. Transitioning his work into actual books, he is continually startled at the appetite for his particular blend of high magic, wild adventure and absurd nonsense.
Success has allowed Shirtaloon to fund an excessive board game collection he doesn’t have time to play because he’s always writing. The unplayed games sit on the shelves behind him as he works, silently judging.
