King of Scars

"I loved getting to see inside the Kings head and the after effects of the Darklings spell on him."

Bardugo’s magic continues!

"I adore this series, and the King of Scars answers many questions that were dangling from previous books. I bought this book as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. All of Bardugo’s books take you so completely to another world. Her characters, even the flawed ones, are captivating!"

LB P. (4/5)

Interesting concept

"I just like the author and read all the other books in the GV and am hunting the extras. I also like the characters so I had to see what it was about but I haven’t had a chance to read it yet."

Anon (5/5)

disappointing but I would still recommend

"As a huge fan of Leigh Bardugo and the Grishaverse series this book was a bit of a disappointment. Compared to all the other grisha books this one took me a long time to finish, although I would recommend this extension of the series to anyone who enjoys the entire Grisha storyline I found it was not as good as the rest and even the sequel to this book was much better and a more enjoyable read than this one."

StevieKuj (3/5)

Great Sequel!

"Awesome read and great addition to the Grishaverse(Shadow and Bone)! I loved seeing more of the characters that were introduced earlier. Great for anyone looking for more after finishing Shadow and Bone or Six of Crows!"

Hina S. (5/5)

Nikolai slays

"Nikolai is one of my favourite characters in this universe so I was super excited about a book mostly following him. Definitely a more enjoyable read than the OG trilogy (though it has good moments too)"

Esimpson (4/5)

Love Bardugo

"Bardugo brings you right back into the Grishaverse while continuing to develop both the characters and storylines. Love her writing!"

Jane (5/5)
