"Gripping and unpredictable, Room for Rent by Noelle Ihli had me peering between my fingers as I read. Anyone who has had a problematic roommate will immediately relate to this darkly disturbing, compulsively readable page-turner. An immersive, spine-tingling, deeply visceral experience, I recommend reading Room for Rent with the lights blazing."

- Heather Gudenkauf, New York Times bestselling author of The Overnight Guest

"What a thrill ride! Room for Rent made me afraid of what could be happening in my own home. It gave me nightmares I still can't shake. Trust me, you'll never look at basements the same way again."

-Steph Nelson, author of The Vein

"This heart-pounding thriller will grip you from the first sentence and won't let go until the last. Settle in and get comfy when you start Room for Rent, because it's the very definition of unputdownable."

-Faith Gardner, author of The Slaying Game

Creepy read

"Still on the Ihli reading kick and I have one more after this. Big thanks to Simon Maverick and Libro. fm for letting me read and listen to this book. Ihli does really bring the creep factor and she makes the reader believe that at some points the story will go in a different direction or directions than it does, you’re always on your toes. I did guess what was going to happen in this one really earlier on but I kept reading incase something changed. She does have a way to keep the reader enticed and reading. As for the actual story, I’ve never had a roommate so I can’t relate lol but I definitely would have not stayed there even for the price. Vibes off, I’m gone. Nya wasn’t very observant with either of the guys and she didn’t pay attention to her guy until it was too late, girl we always follow our gut. I think this one would hit better for a YA (like older end of the spectrum) crowd. But I would still recommend it to those people."
