"Ahh!!! This was SOOO GOOD!!! I could not put it down! THE TEARS! 😭 urgh i love having a good cry over a book! Heather’s writing is absolutely wonderful and I went through ALL THE EMOTIONS that Roslyn went through. The pain of grief, the feeling of loneliness and how you dont want to tell your family for fear of them judging you and not understanding and urgh… did i mention the tears? And I LOVEEE LIAM! oh how stoic he is, but im soooooo happy about his journey to better himself. And Roslyn! I relate to her SOO MUCH! How she felt alone, and how her family didn’t fully understand her. Urgh. Girlllll I want to be your bestie!! And to top it off…I can’t tell you how much I loved the messaging of this book! The author weaves in that if we don’t have the tools to help ourselves or our loved ones that it’s Ok to ask for help. It’s ok to talk to a therapist or counsellor or that it’s just ok to ask for help. Because I had to ask for help, and it has TOTALLY benefited me.
