Reviews

Fun & easy fantasy read

"Not the most detailed world, but fun and easy to be swept up in the characters lives!"

Annika P. (3/5)

Thoughts

"I am really enjoying the series. I rated the first book a 3. 75/5 stars and thats pretty good for me. I totally recommend continuing this series."

Jay A. (4/5)

The Ashes & the Star-Cursed King: Book 2 of the Nightborn Duet

"Nice to read a completed series. Good romance and world building."

Sir M. (4/5)

Poor Quality Hardback

"Like another reviewer pointed out, this copy of the book feels very cheaply made; the hardback cover itself squeaks when you hold it open, which is very distracting, and the pages are painfully thin. I loved the first book in this series, but I may DNF this one because of how aggravating the dip in quality of the material book is. I don't understand why publishers do this with books, but it is very off-putting and I feel as though I have wasted my money. It's too bad this series isn't in the Kobo store, or I would simply switch to my e-reader to finish it."

I needed to process this book for a day before writing my review bc the emotions that it wrung from me were truly raw.

"""""Yours,"""" I ground out. """"It's yours. """" My blood. My body. My soul. I had given her all of that a long time ago. I even had given her my life. And I'd do it all again."
