Good Life Lessons

"The life lessons are solid and have been covered in other books. The Gift would have been more useful with suggested methods as to how to accomplish/achieve those life lessons. Easier said than done. The author's life is certainly inspirational."

"This book is partly a memoir and partly a guide to processing trauma. Eger was only sixteen years old when she and her family got sent to Auschwitz. After surviving unbelievable horrors, she moved to the United States and became a therapist. Her unique background gives her amazing insight, and I think many people will find comfort right now from her suggestions on how to handle difficult situations."

Edith Eger (1927–2026) was an eminent psychologist and Holocaust survivor. Until the end of her life, she maintained a busy clinical psychology practice in La Jolla, California, where she worked with veterans, military personnel, and victims of physical and mental trauma. She was the author of the bestselling and award-winning books The Choice, The Gift, and the young adult edition of The Choice, titled The Ballerina of Auschwitz.
