A young mermaid. A rising tide of trash. And a secret too big to keep. Can Brynn Finley gather the courage to tell the truth in time to stop the sea witch's vile plans?
Brynn Finley has always been the star of her dance squad. But this year, things are different. A new teacher has arrived, and a younger dancer is ready to compete for the spotlight. Brynn works harder than ever, but when her grades slip, she's forced to quit the team.
Desperate to stay on top, Brynn makes a secret deal with Phaedra, the sea witch: flood Mammoth Cave with trash until dance is cancelled. At first it seems like a perfect solution, but soon the trash is out of control and Brynn realizes she's made a terrible mistake.
The Sea Witch was using the trash—and Brynn—to get the Deep Sea Scrolls and awaken an ancient, buried evil. Can Brynn fix the damage and learn what real teamwork means before the town is gone for good?
