“An original, eerie work unlike any other. A New Kind of Clean works its way under your skin, and stays there.”
— SARA GRAN, author of Come Closer and Little Mysteries

“Intense and psychological...wrestles with questions of personal identity and if it's worth losing to gain fame.”
— Library Journal

“Morbidly funny and devastating, A New Kind of Clean follows Missy, an aspiring actress, who is desperate to scour herself of her own identity. When she enters an eerie audition, she’s given the opportunity to do just that. But can she truly part with all the hardship and struggles of her past? Are the parts of us that society labels as unsavory where our true beauty lives? A fast-paced and touching story about a woman who cannot love herself.”
— HEATHER O'NEILL, bestselling author of When We Lost Our Heads

Praise for Iain Reid

“An ingeniously twisted nightmare . . . My kind of fun!”
— CHARLIE KAUFMAN

“One of the most talented purveyors of weird, dark narratives in contemporary fiction.”
— Los Angeles Review of Books

“Once you race to the end and understand the significance of those final pages, you won’t be able to stop thinking about it. This novel will find a spot in your heart and head and it will live there—for days, weeks, months, or (in my case) the rest of your life.”
— NICK CUTTER, author of The Deep

Praise for Ellie Foumbi

“Foumbi’s Our Father, the Devil manages to take overused themes like trauma and grief and imbue them with every facet of their respective meaning.”
— ROBERT DANIELS, RogerEbert.com

“In the assured hands of the writer-director Ellie Foumbi, Marie’s unraveling yields not only an absorbing psychological thriller, but a profound meditation on the ethics of immigration.”
— The New York Times
