Reviews

Bawling your eyes

"My sister gave me this book to read, which makes everything so much more emotional. I remember crying in the café, so good."

Joeann C. (5/5)

a thoughtful book

"its a great book to read but i think story gets repetitive along you read"

Aabiskar R. (3/5)

Lovely

"This is a beautifully written novel happening inside a retro cafe where time travel is possible. It has four different stories interwoven together with characters who have their individual existence yet perfectly complement each other."

Leon (4/5)

Unique & Thought Provoking

"This was a unique, thought-provoking read. The four stories and the characters are all intertwined. This was an emotional read especially when you, the reader, make the connection between different characters and what transpires. The lessons that I took from this is that you are responsible for your own attitude to the life circumstances you have to deal with as you get older. With one character, it dealt with how she handled her husband’s decline due to Alzheimer’s. In the end, it’s your daily attitude. With another character, it’s one’s attitude towards death. Again, it’s our own daily choices on how we deal with life. The most important lesson: Your smile today may be the reason another person smiles tomorrow."

Brantford N. (4/5)

cold coffee does not taste pleasant -before the coffee gets cold indicates to use the opportunity to re-visit a past event before the chance to clarify unsolved issues has passed

"its an interesting thought to go back in time to review/re-discuss a previous situation"

The tittle draws you in, and leaves you wondering what happens with the coffee gets cold? Also a great coffee lover title!

"This book is very well written. It touches on deep, emotional topics and scenarios in a light way. There is a little something for everyone to take away from this book. A must read!"

Farah M. (5/5)

Heartwarming and hopeful

"Reading it made me pause, breathe, and think of people I’ve lost touch with, the words I wish I had said, and the moments I still have. It’s not just about traveling to the past - it’s about being fully present now. This book left me feeling warm, hopeful, and quietly changed. It’s a gentle reminder that while we can’t rewrite our yesterdays, we can always make today matter before the coffee gets cold."

Ben S. (5/5)

Staff picked and it was an absolute gem

"Not gonna lie this one will hit you differently! I was sobbing thinking about having one more coffee and chat with the loved ones I’ve lost and never stopped grieving…i wish there was a real cafe like that so people could get a chance to relive a moment."

Abby (5/5)

Time Travel Stories

"I love time travel stories so this was a pleasant collection to read. Writing was straightforward and simple and each story gave you something to think about afterwards."
