Title is always a win I never see much problems with it! I genuinely think indigo is the best bookstore

"The books printing was great like every day and I didn't see a mistake"

I don’t recommend

"I bought this book a while ago hoping to love it since fiction action and Greek mythology are some of my favourite types of genres. The dialogue is heavily repeated, had inappropriate scenes (which I thought this book was for teens…?), and the “crushes” main character Alexis has throughout the book are disturbing. I got bored at the ninth chapter but finished the book in hopes it would change my mind. It didn’t."

LOVEE

"I LOVEEEE this book! Alexis and Nyx are one of the funniest fictional characters I’ve come across to and the plot was brilliant. I can’t wait for the second book to be released by the end of this month."

Adntt (5/5)

Havent read yet

"In my TBR so hoping for it to be good as I've read good reviews about it"

Haru (5/5)

Kayla (5/5)

A must read!!!!

"I absolutely LOVED this book it’s a 5 for me!!! I ended up reading this in one day because i couldn’t put it down! It isn’t accurate with Greek mythology but it didn’t bother me since this is fiction but I have nothing bad to say about this book at all and couldn’t recommend it more!"

Really enjoyed it

"This book was not on my radar at all but it was chosen for our August bookclub pick in the UndertheCoversRD bookclub. I was super surprised at this book, I didn’t know what to expect and I went in blind and I liked it. I really have always enjoyed Greek mythology so that was fun (even though I haven’t read it in a hot minute). I did enjoy the secret, I hadn’t read the synopsis so I really wasn’t aware hahaha. I found it interesting that our main character was given to foster parents who were shitty and then they gave the parents another child. Alexis had to be a fighter from the beginning and she was her younger brother’s hero. She really wanted to just help her brother survive and she ended up being whisked away and finding out who she really is. I did enjoy the kind of love triangle that was going on and I’m excited to see where it goes and what happens in book two. I need to know where Nyx (my favourite character by the way) came from and what she had to do with everything. I loved listening to Alexis and Nyx talk back and forth and their banter. I hope we also learn more about all of the men and maybe their backstories. I would recommend this one to others and I’ll be continuing on with the series."

Blood of Hercules

"Blood of Hercules has a cool premise and a strong female lead. Alexis’s sarcastic voice makes the story entertaining, and I liked the fact that it takes place in a modernized world. That said, the tone can feel all over the place. Her humour is sharp, but it sometimes clashes with the trauma she’s processing, like she’ll describe something heartbreaking and then suddenly crack a joke. It made it harder to fully connect with her or take certain moments seriously. There’s also a lot of heavy, dark romance. If you’re into morally gray dynamics and intense emotional themes, it might work for you, but it won’t be for everyone. Finally, overall it’s a relatively okay book but it definitely feels wattpad fanfic esque."
