First and Second book opinion

"I was given this book by my grandma since she doesn't like these books at all. Im not into these kinds of books either but it's so amazing. I love how the story is and the characters but I don't like the ending that much. I'm starting to read the second book right now and I'm almost 100 pages in but I can't seem to get into it like I did the first book. I do recommend reading the first book but the second is a maybe. It's basically the same plot as the first with different situations. If you enjoy fantasy and slow burning romance I recommend it."

Confusion at its finest

"Got this from a local library and was so excited to read it. Only to be litterally baited. Rivals where? They're sending eachother letters within like the first 100 pages of the book or less I don't remember. But oh my god the plot had me confused to the core. 99% of the time I had no idea what was going on. And if you're going to market something as enemies to lovers/rivals to lovers, ACTUALLY make them enemies/rivals. This was absolutely terrible."
