“The story is packed with cameos from some of our favourite Doctors, companions, friends, and foes, and reads a little like a season finale or special.” Doctor Who Magazine

“Letting Dan Slott play in the Whoniverse has created magic for the Tenth Doctor and Martha - and us readers! Once Upon A Time Lord is thrillingly adventurous, sparklingly witty and very clever too! This cameo-packed debut Doctor Who comic from Dan Slott has us very excited for the rest of his Time Lord adventures!” Doctor Who Corner to Corner podcast

By that measure, it must be said Slott has delivered handsomely on that front, giving us not just one but two good stories, weaving together so many past elements in a fresh and invigorating way.” Set the Tape
