FIVE STARS - READERS' FAVORITE BOOK ONE TATTOO ANGEL

"After a tragedy leaves a boy an orphan, he discovers he has special powers that will help him save lives in the young adult adventure book E-Z Dickens Superhero (Book One: Tattoo Angel) by Cathy McGough. Thirteen-year-old Ezekiel Dickens, E-Z to his friends and family, is an average boy with a passion for baseball. An accident deprives him of his parents and condemns him to a wheelchair,

Riddles and ghosts abound in the young adult supernatural adventure, E-Z Dickens Superhero by Cathy McGough. With a positive message, this story can help those suffering from trauma and injury to heal and change their perspective."

FOUR STARS - AMAZON REVIEWER - BOOK ONE: TATTOO ANGEL

When E-Z wakes up in the hospital after a tragic accident, his parents are dead and the 13-year-old can't move his toes. Although confined to a wheelchair, he discovers he can fly - with wings growing from his arms where tattoos should be. He's not left to fend for himself in a strange new world, as he has his Uncle Sam who steps in to raise him, along with supernatural entities that appear when you least expect it.

I like E-Z. He's quirky, and even though an accident derailed his dreams of becoming a professional baseball player, he doesn't feel sorry for himself and pulls the reader along with him. His attitude is uplifting (despite the fact that he has wings, no pun intended). Readers will cheer for him. It's good to see a disabled character playing a central role in the plot, rather than staying on the sidelines, contributing little to the action. Applause for the author. I also like the concept of ghosts giving E-Z special powers, but I wish they had become more developed as other main characters. Nevertheless, a clever story. The book will appeal to young teens. Well done.

FIVE STARS - Amazon Reviewer - BOOK TWO: THE THREE

E-Z DICKENS SUPER HERO BOOK TWO: THE THREE by Cathy McGough is a great superhero adventure story. The main characters, E-Z, Lia and Alfred, will take you on an adventure with surprises you don't expect. And what do the Archangels have to do with their mission? Find out for yourself. I really enjoyed the plot, the writing style and the story, which kept me in suspense until the last chapter.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes superheroes, suspense, action, adventure, teenagers, YA or fiction.
