Have you ever wondered "what happens next?" to a cameo character in a good story? Someone like Eutychus, who while lounging on the sill of an open window, nodded off during Saint Peter's long sermon and fell to his what? His death? His crippling? His resurrection? Well, now you can know! Eutychus, according to Jay Bingham, author of this engaging new work, is on a search for "witness stories" that tell him more - because Eutychus wants to know what happened to others who also heard the good news. The Eutychus which Bingham brings to life is both humble in his efforts to author his book of witness stories but also convinced that as the steward of these love stories he must go to print for the sake of the world. Within these pages the reader will meet the wealthy and the con artist; female heads of households in a world of patriarchy and delightful servant girls who in no way stay hidden in the pantry. Each witness brings to the page a fresh look at the epiphanies of a motley group of believers whose lives were changed just enough to make them the ordinary miracles of a new and living faith. I'd suggest reading it, even simply for your own sake.
-- Reverend Deb Knowlton
Jay Bingham is a retired engineer who decided to become a writer. "I've always been a writer at heart," he insists. "It's like engineering, only with words and letters instead of with wires and resistors."

Jay's greatest gift when it comes to writing is an imagination that often sees life's humorous side. He has a habit of seeing things and then wondering what's going on behind the curtain, what the real story is underneath, and what the every-day, mundane logistics behind a great fantasy might be. "When someone you admire appears to be deep in thought," he says, "They're probably thinking about lunch."

A proud graduate of the University of Utah where he graduated Cum Laude, Jay was born and raised in Utah. He now lives happily in Maryland with his wife, a BYU graduate, and their dog Chrysanthemum, who may or may not have graduated from obedience school. "Trees," he says of his beloved home just one traffic jam away from the nation's capital. "'Nuff said."
