Just what i was looking for

"I own a lot of cookbooks by various food bloggers so i have a decent size collection of recipes at home, but I felt like my collection was missing a cookbook that was written by a chef. As a vegetarian i have a hard time finding suitable cookbooks I like by chefs. This cookbook was just the sort of this I was looking for. I love that the chef is local to the martimes so they use many ingredients that are easy for me to get that being said, some of the ingredients that they forage are harder to come by, but they offer substitues and when in doubt I always use google for substitutes. I still think overall the ingredients are easy to find. This is not a strictly vegetarian cookbook, but the focus on vegetables means there are many recipes for me to make. I can now elevate my cooking with fancier (but not necessarily more difficult) recipes when I want to! I've made two recipes from the book so far and they were both hits!"

Excellent Vegetable Cookbook

"Excellent Cookbook focused on vegetables and fruits. Chef Michael Smith does not disappoint in this newest cookbook. It is beautifully designed and has a wide range of ""vegetable forward"" recipes. A great resource to help broaden your repertoire. It is full of well written tips, techniques and recipes."

Great cooking style

"Great style of cooking, putting together root vegetables in ways to maximize the flavour of each, and adding protein from a variety of healthy sources."

Love ""farmhouse vegetables""!

"This cookbook is amazing! I struggle to eat my vegetables, not that I don't like them, but if I am hungry, I'm not going to grab and apple or a veggie. This cookbook has helped me integrate more veggies into my diet. So far my favourite recipe is the root vegetable pavé. Simple and delicious! Highly recommend this cookbook!"
