The location consultant for the show, and sister to his biggest bull riding rival. Walls come crashing down, and a connection forms. But at what cost? I'm not even sure why, but it took me a quick minute to get into this story. But once these two are in each others orbits the banter drew me in immediately and I quickly found myself turning the pages, not wanting to put it down. Because they just made me smile so much. The connection is one that slow burns with delicious tension and even some angst too. There are so many layers to unravel in Emmett. I feel like he's so unique to any other MMC the author has written to date. He's truly just a big ol' softie. I really enjoyed my experience reading this one. It's set up for what I think will be a great series. With a great town setting and fabulous side characters. It was also pretty fun to get more of Theo and Winter here.
