Good first time sports romance

"This was our April Bookclub choice for the #underthecoversrdbookclub hosted by my lovely little hockey romance obsessed friend Linnea. This book was good. I was bad and watched the TV show first which literally was almost identical to the book. It did take me a bit to get into just because I distant more than male porn lol. A plot line of arises somewhere in the book. I do applaud the author for covering tropics like being closeted and then found out and having to announce it to the world. But also still hide sometimes. I did personally enjoy Kip & Scott better but that’s just me. This was a bit spicier of a read with some descriptions I hope never to read again lol. I think my fave character is Svetlana, she knows what’s up. I would recommend this book and TV show to people honestly."

"I bought this book after watching the show, and it was AMAZING. I love the characters and how they learn to go through their emotions and dilemma. Yes, this book has spicy scenes, but also very emotional ones and I love the combination. The writing style is good and easy to read. If you haven’t watched the show, I recommend it since you understand a lot of the characters backstory and sometimes go a little deeper on their mental processes."
