“This is a great read. In fact, it is really hard to put down. Both are songwriters, and the book reads like a great song, each chapter is like a track off of a duet album. It is kind of an extended Double Fantasy by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. This book is very detailed but does have a lyrical and flow to it that makes one want to keep turning pages. Fans of both Kreviazuk and Maida will get a great deal out of I'm Going To Break Your Heart: A Rock N Roll Love Story, but nonfans will enjoy it as well. It is not about their music, although that factors into the story, it is a very human story. A very well written, extremely readable, memoir.” — The Spill Magazine

Chantal Kreviazuk is a singer-songwriter born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A mother of three boys with her husband of 25 years, Raine Maida, Chantal has recorded 11 albums in her illustrious career. Her passion for helping communities impacted by chronic violence and war has led her to travel to the world’s most critical hotspots and become a recipient of the Order of Canada. She is passionate about breaking cycles and creating peace on micro and macro levels.

Raine Maida is a five-time Juno Award–winning artist and songwriter fronting the multi-platinum-selling alt-rock band Our Lady Peace. He was born in Toronto, and is an Order of Canada recipient who’s been able to blur the lines between musician, humanitarian, and tech founder. Most importantly, he is father to his three boys and husband to Chantal. They live in Los Angeles.
