The Sunshine State is home to a variety of incredible bird species. So why is one little mockingbird feeling sad?
In this beautifully illustrated children's book, young readers will fly along with Molly on her quest to discover what makes her unique.
During her first solo flight, Molly meets some of the neighborhood birds. She openly admires their talents and wants to become just like them, but she is quickly disappointed by her inability to compare. If only Molly could find out who she is meant to be, then she too could fly happily through the blue sky.
This endearing tale about a young bird struggling to find her place is brought to life through exquisite watercolor illustrations. A wonderful read aloud that will encourage children to learn more about what makes each of us diverse and special. From the moment you meet Molly, she will flutter into your heart and nest there.
Molly the Mockingbird is ideal for children ages 3-8 (PreK-3rd grade).
