Rahul Chaturvedi is an Indian Canadian filmmaker who likes to tell hopeful, heartfelt, whimsical stories of the South Asian diaspora. He is a recent graduate of the Canadian Film Centre Writers' Lab. His award-winning short film Forbidden Tikka Masala was selected by the Toronto International Film Festival for their Film Circuit and Reel Comfort programmes. Chai Tea, a sketch comedy series he co-created, is currently in development with CBC Gem. Namaste, Santa is his first book for children. He lives in Brampton, Ontario.
Sunita Balsara is a writer and illustrator living in Toronto, Ontario. A graduate of Sheridan College's animation program, Sunita has worked on popular shows such as Bubble Guppies, Thomas & Friends and more. Ostinato, a short film she wrote, was an official selection at Comic-Con's 2024 Independent International Film Festival. Namaste, Santa is her first book for children.
