A man with too many secrets!

"Walter Nash is a boring number-cruncher, excellent at his job, but just a kind, loving husband and father. Under the surface of Nash’s perfect life are a lot of secrets. Secrets in his family, secrets at his work and secrets in the FBI investigation of his employer, Sybaritic Investments. As Senior Executive VP, he is in the perfect position to uncover their secrets. The mastermind behind the crimes is willing to use lethal means to prevent exposure, including targeting Nash and his family. Caught between the FBI and the criminals, Nash frantically searches for a way out. Baldacci sets up the question, “What would you do if your family were at risk?” Walter is extremely smart, but a bit clueless about all his family’s secrets. When his family pays the price for his actions, he re-examines his skill set. He works to become a lethal threat of his own to exact revenge. I love how complex his character is; he has many hidden depths. The story dragged a bit for me during his transformation, but overall was exciting, with unexpected twists. It does end on a cliff-hanger, and I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Recommended for readers who enjoy thrillers with interesting out-of-the-ordinary heroes. Thanks to Grand Central Publishing and NetGalley for access to an advanced reader copy."

Nash Falls

"Nash Falls definitely needs to be made into a movie along with the next sister book Hope Rises (coming our April 14, 2026). A brilliant masterpiece of a story. This book is a huge roller coaster of a ride and shocking chapters the reader is not expecting to read. From beginning to end prepare yourself for a fast pace roller coaster ride in which you don’t want to fall off. Enjoy. . . . . . the ride!"

Author consistently writes engaging thrillers

"I bought this book for a family member, but David Baldacci is a phenomenal writer. This fanily member has read all his books and I've heard several time how it seems impossible that this author can write write one engaging thriller after another."

Disappointed but hoping for better

"As a great fan of Reacher, I was hoping for a better read. Unfortunately, the first half of the book falls a bit flat and the latter half has Reacher showing no mercy on his victims and giving the lead to others. It's like he's just along for the ride. One wonders how he cannot be prosecuted for his pugnacious deeds. The book feels like Lee Child fleshed out the second half and Andrew Child wrote the first half by himself. Perhaps it's time to replace Reacher entirely with a fresh character."

Follows authors usual style of title

"Nice easy read and humour mixed with suspense. kept my attention throughout."

Another Excellent New character from Baldacci

"My husband loved it. Took him only a couple days to finish."

Intense, sharp, and action-packed!

"Nash Falls is a sinister, engrossing thriller that introduces Walter Nash, a highly successful acquisitions executive who, following the death of his estranged father, suddenly finds himself working with the FBI when it becomes apparent that something deeply illicit is happening at the investment firm where he works, and he’s quickly drawn into a dangerous web where powerful forces will stop at nothing to silence him, including kidnapping his daughter and destroying his reputation. The writing is crisp and controlled. The characters are astute, driven, and multi-layered. And the intricate plot keeps you fully engrossed from start to finish, with all the twists, turns, deception, revelations, corruption, power plays, red herrings, violence, and murder. In case you couldn’t tell, I absolutely loved this novel, and once again, Nash Falls proves that when it comes to crafting exceptionally complex, fast-paced, and expertly plotted crime fiction with unforgettable characters and nefarious storylines, Baldacci remains one of the very best."

Intense!

"This. Was. Intense! This started off steady and deliberate, giving me time to really settle into the characters and understand what made them tick. Before I realized it, that slow burn had turned into a full-on blaze, and the story just kept picking up speed until I couldn’t look away. This story tugged at my emotions, calm one moment and heart pounding the next, with the shifts in pace keeping me fully engaged. The main character’s evolution caught me off guard in the best way. I never saw his choices or transformation coming. And that ending? A total cliffhanger. I’m now anxious and biting my nails for the next book! This is one of those stories that will be running through my mind for some time to come."
