As a student of life, Faye Thompson is learning and relearning that the only constant is change. While there may be fifty shades of Faye, two things are non-negotiable—counting her blessings and praising her God. As a retired Federal civil servant, CUNY graduate, and product of the New York City public school system, Thompson's mission is to keep the spotlight on God because “my need for His forgiveness, grace, empathy, and mercy never ends.”

As her mother took her last breaths, she reminded Faye that she has so many more books inside of her—including Secret Covenants and Side-eye Snickers and Shade: The Fabulous Girl’s Guide to Bullies, Spiritual Warfare, and Mental Health, which continues to help Faye and others in their grieving and healing journey.

As the author prays, preps, and steps her way into this new reality without her beloved Boobie, she is never truly alone. With an abundance of gratitude and joy, Faye Thompson has returned to creating drama-drenched gems—each a love letter designed to reconnect us with our first love—the God who loved us first.
