Not great

"I'm a huge fan of the show, but this book wasn't well written."

KellyBaker (2/5)

Couldn't Get Into It

"I loved the show, even the movies were ok. So I thought I would enjoy the book. I was wrong. It was nothing like the 4 girlfriends having fun feel of the show. It was hard to follow and fell flat."

Laura E. (1/5)

A different 'Sex and the City'

"Bushnell's book is interesting on its own but its fundamental differences with the series might shock the readers who are attached to the HBO show. One of the only instances in which I've found an adaptation more enjoyable then the original book."

Camille (3/5)

A very different take.

"Bushnell writes an interesting collection of stories but very different from what fans of the HBO series might have expected. One of the few times I've found an movie/film adaptation to be better then the original book."

Camille (3/5)

Meh! Series is better

"Having watch the tv show I gave this book a go, but I was not that impressed."

Lucy (2/5)

A Really Bizarre Collection

"This book is a really bizarre, disconnected collection of essays by Candace Bushnell, which inspired the show SEX AND THE CITY. Needless the say, the show is much, much better."

Brianne (2/5)

I like it

"The tv series and the book are very different. If you haven't seen tv show, read the book first. It is a good read."

Linda Q. (3/5)
