Great Return to the Mistborn Series

"As with the first trilogy in the Mistborn series, Sanderson delivers excellent character development with back stories woven into the main story. The action is legitimately exciting, the characters feel real and have their own distinct personalities. Humour, suspense, thrills, surprises and mind-bending concepts abound! reading the first three instalments is recommended but not required as Sanderson gets readers up to speed quickly and easily without the slightest inconvenience or boredom to those who have read the previous titles and know them well."

Thrilling continuation to the original trilogy with a mode modern twist

"I was skeptical about continuing on with the Mistborn series after Hero of Ages and the epic conclusion it had, but I was captivated the entire book at the new implications of Allomancy in the world. Great character banter and a good laugh at times paired well with another fantastic tale of heroism."

Steampunk Batman with Reformed Gangster Robin

"Read everything in Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere. Best worldbuilding ever. This one in particular. . . it's best if you read the Mistborn trilogy first, but honestly it's not as strong (and more of a prequel series), so I think it'd be fine to jump in here. Think Steampunk Batman where Robin is hilarious instead of a keener."
