Reviews

Loved This!

"I honestly love this book! It was different from anything I've ever written, and you wanted to know more about what was going on in her world. You get quite attached to the characters, and you're intrigued to find out what happens next! #employeereview"

Incredible story

"Stephenie Meyer's writing wowed me in this book, as the ideas were so unique and the plot fell together really well. Experienced lots of emotional rollercoasters, but was never bored as I kept on reading until the end. If anyone's skeptical about trying this book after reading the Twilight books, as the author's well known for, don't let that stop you from reading this!"

Jenny (5/5)

Best Book Ever

"This is my absolute favourite book out of the countless hundreds that I've read over my life. If you want to read about love and adventure but also about a quest to find out what truly makes us human, this is definitely the book for you! #plumreview"

Persey (5/5)

Loved!

"Definitely would suggest to read it before watching the movie! Loved reading it!"

Katya (4/5)

best book ever written

"my absolute favourite book in the entire world. I would recommend anyone to read this who loves to dive right into a book and not put it down."

Taelor (5/5)

Not The Best

"The Host was based off a really interesting idea, and I had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. This book was slow in comparison to Twilight; however, I would only recommend it if you like dystopian novels with a bit of romance."

Raeesa (2/5)

A Bit Odd

"It was very strange and bit difficult to keep up with at times but it was an interesting read"

Megan (2/5)

Not Twilight

"A very much needed change for this writer. I enjoyed the story and the concept. An enjoyable read."

Nessie (4/5)

Love this Book!

"I've read this book twice and both times was so impressed by the writing and the story itself. This novel was so unexpected coming from Stephenie Meyer but I can honestly say it was a pleasant surprise. This dystopian world that she creates within the novel is definitely worth discovering for yourself."

Corinna (5/5)

Starts off slow, but as you get through the story it's captivating and entertaining.

"The main characters are Melanie and Wanda (the body and the soul). They go on a journey to find the people they love and to find themselves. The Characters are lovable and I love how Melanie and Wanda are so strong. I love the descriptions, the characters, the conflicts and the resolutions. The story is complex. Not only is there the issue of Melanie loving Jared and the Wanderer loving Jared because of Melanie’s memories; we also have Ian, another member of the rebels. This book is all about emotions, and reading about how the characters feel in every scene makes the story feel real. You can feel the pain, the anger, the faith, the love and the hope."
