Praise for The Museum of Modern Love

“The Museum of Modern Love is a yearning rush that builds into a full tidal wave of desire. This romance is everything I also appreciate about works of great art: the beauty is immediate, but it keeps drawing the eye because it’s complicated, unknowable, and ultimately redemptive.” —Stephanie Perkins, New York Times-bestselling author of Overdue and Anna and the French Kiss

★ "A well-told, romantic story that resists settling into sentimentality, The Museum of Modern Love will have readers rooting for Miki to follow her own heart" —Booklist, starred review

“This overnight adventure is a tale of hearts whispering secrets in the dark, reminding us that love is all around—but is almost never how we imagined it. Funny, soft, and full of undeniable chemistry, The Museum of Modern Love perfectly illustrates how love can be found in the most unexpected places, in the most unexpected ways, and between the most unexpected people. It’ll have you swooning and rooting for second-chances.” —Misty Wilson, New York Times-bestselling author of Falling Like Leaves

"Mariko Turk’s novel is its own masterpiece, full of beauty and magic, and reminding us that art can change our lives.” —Katie Cicatelli-Kuc, New York Times-bestselling author of Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice

“It takes a special author to illustrate the beauty of timeless art that we see with our eyes and feel with our hearts. Mariko Turk is that author, who so wonderfully captures the joys and trials of first loves.” —Zoulfa Katouh, bestselling author of As Long As the Lemon Trees Grow

“The Museum of Modern Love is thoroughly swoonworthy! Brimming with romance and heart, Miki’s journey of self-discovery as she traces her grandmother’s footsteps through the Met is like the best works of art—the kind you’ll want to re-visit again and again.” —Emma Mills, author of First & Then

"The rush of new love and the protagonists’ banter drive this vivid romp...a page-turning homage to art and romance." —Publishers Weekly

"[A] beautiful ode to the inspiring, life-changing power of art."—Kirkus Reviews

"Turk expertly shifts between the characters' burgeoning romance and Miki's exploration of identity...a worthwhile read for fans of YA romance." —School Library Journal

"[A] love letter to art and second chances." —BCCB
