"I was born and raised in New Brunswick. Every summer my mother and I would drive through NB, , NS, PEI. Never NFLD. I have lived in several other provinces since high school. I’ve always thought I should go to NFLD, but not a pressing desire…Europe had a greater pull. This has all changed since finishing Smiling Land. ( This book is a submission to the Riverside Book Club, a book club that is now nearing its 100th anniversary! ). Sooo personal, sooo informative, soo intriguing !!
