The Summer Hikaru Died, Vol. 1- Big Fan!!

"The Summer Hikaru Died, Vol. 1 instantly became one of my favorites! I was completely pulled in by the mix of heartwarming friendship and unsettling mystery. It's emotional, eerie, and beautiful all at once. The artwork captures the perfect balance of warmth and tension, and the story kept me thinking about it long after I finished. I'm so excited to see where this series goes next!"

Isabella B. (5/5)

What a great opening!

"I’ve seen so much hype around this series but never knew what it was fully about, and boy did this first volume surprise me. Not only is the art style so cool and well done, the writing for the characters and setting was amazing and made me start to understand them even though I was just introduced. The last few pages made me VERY curious and excited to read more, and if you are into supernatural horror with some slice of life I would highly recommend!"

The summer hikaru died review

"I’ve been reading this manga online for awhile, now that i got the book. . its the same. Its pretty good overall and i really liked the chemistry between the two. . it was pretty embarrassing for hikaru to die from a tree cus he thought it looked like bo*bs. . haha. its a good series."

Meii (5/5)

interesting, delicate ""horror"" title

"Instantly reminds me of the country-side in southern Japan. Yoshiki is wrestling with his relationship with ""Hikaru"". If you're watching the anime, it pretty faithfully follows the books."

Meiyoumingzi (5/5)
