Great series, great opening.

"A young woman from earth gets thrown into a (rather creative) fantasy world, with video game style leveling. She decides to run an inn. It goes well! Mostly."

Immersive & Captivating

"This book embodies "Its about the journey, not the destination" in every authored word. If you choose to flip that first page, you'll be introduced to a living, breathing, world that will fill you with joy, tears, heartache, and wonder."

A Beautiful World

"I stumbled upon this series out of nowhere back in 2023. Since then, TWI has become my favorite piece of fiction of all time. I have since then pre-ordered every book I can, purchased quite a bit of merchandise, and am currently waiting on the paperback copies of the first two books (technically four with them being split). Pirate's ability to weave so many story lines together so effectively is an absolute wonder to read, and a huge inspiration for myself. Something I've always had a minor issue with other series, and especially those in the LitRPG genre, is that they do not give their stories time to properly breath. They try to cram a huge world with an intricate story into a teeny tiny bottle, and it doesn't always work. TWI does not do that, and people may have an issue with that, but I find it so enjoyable to read. Characters are given time to become not just some character in a book, but true people in a way few other pieces of media I've interacted with have done. The more you read, the more they become more real, more intricate. And its not just characters either. Places, groups, species, and so on are so intricate, so detailed, it feels like I am truly there. The Wandering Inn is just such a beautiful world, and I am so excited to be able to support this series."

Fantasy with Depth and Heart

"I listened to the audiobook for several books of this series and I love it. The world has incredible depth and complex characters. The story in the beginning has issues in regards to repeating phrases and some characters being a bit cartoonish, but it's part of the charm for me and only improves as the author gets more experienced with writing. I absolutely recommend starting this series."

The start of an epic fantasy

"My absolute favorite series to read! Much further along than even the audiobooks and after years so excited for it to finally be released physically. Every book just gets better and better!"
