"This Story Might Save Your Life is a fast paced thriller that will have you guessing from beginning to end. You will want to binge this book to find out what happened to Joy. Benny and Joy have this unique friendship and love for each other and you cant help but just love them. They have their own podcast where their humour and interaction with each other has brought the podcast to the top. The story is told in duo timelines and the tension mounts with every page. The book is a relentless mix of secrets and lies with a jaw dropping twist you wont see coming. Tiffany Crum has written a phenomenal debut book and I cant wait to see what she has in store for us next."

Twisty, red herrings but won't stay with me long

"This book has been all over the Bookstagram universe. It was a combination of a couple of genres (mystery and a titch of romance), but I'll be honest, the romance element surprised me and didn't quite win me over. Instead, I thought the strength was in the tension and the friendship between the two main characters. This is a solid suspense read with lots of red herrings and narrators Julia Whelan (one of my all-time favs!) and Sean Patrick Hopkins bring the connection between best friends Benny and Joy to life. The different sounding podcast elements were also a nice addition. My wee beef: There's a pretty big secondary cast which made me pause as the twists were revealed as I tried to remember who that characters was in relation to the others. But when I initially finished this audiobook, I wasn't sure how I felt about it and had to sit with it for a bit. It was a good read in the moment but isn’t a book whose details will stay with me long. It's definitely twisty and it lives up to its hype . . . but just barely."

A very impressive debut!

"Congratulations to the author for a very impressive debut! This is a great thriller, made even better with a touch of romance. I enjoyed the characters, the humour, the mystery and the twists. Set around the lives of a couple of friends who have a podcast, it had a bit of everything, and it worked to make a fun, riveting read. I particularly enjoyed what I considered the realistic ending. Thanks to Edelweiss+ for the digital advance reading copy. 4. 5/5 stars!"

A must listen!

"What a story! It had me hooked from the very beginning! Joyce and Benny are the hosts of the popular podcasts This Story Might Save Your Life where they tell each other survival stories. Their friendship extends well beyond the recording studio so when one of them along with their spouse goes missing, this is the other's mission to find out what happened and if their friend is still alive. . . I cannot believe this is the debut novel of author Tiffany Crum. The story is told between the points of view of the two main characters and bounces between the past and present day but that doesn't take from the plot being very well-written and easy to follow. I love how the author developed and presented the main characters' friendships through the years, making it more meaningful for the reader. I really felt the highs and lows of their lives. And what can I say about the plot twist! Because at the end this is a thriller/mystery novel! I really did not see it coming! The way it unfolds, how details are revealed, had me gasping and unable to stop listening! The novel contains some sensitive subjects but the author handle them respectfully and delicately in my opinion, Another strong point of this novel is the audiobook version. That is how I got to read the story and I would recommend 100% to people to enjoy the story audiobook style! Not only the narration is fantastic but a lot of attention was put on the audio montage and reader experience. I really felt I was listening to bits of the podcasts, the voicemail left by the fans and surveillance videos. A must-read/must-listen! I received a free copy of this book from Macmillan Audio in exchange for an honest review."
