Ben Ryder believes he has found the woman of his dreams—his soulmate. If he loses her, his one chance for true love will be gone forever. Yet problems exist: she is already in a serious relationship with someone else, and her faith in God is on a different level than his own. Still, she is the one. He can feel it. Surely this is the relationship he has been praying for since he was 13, so God will ultimately unite them, right?
Fortunately for Ben, he has an extremely valuable tool to help him overcome these problems—the ability to travel back in time. Through much study, effort, and an extraordinary clock—created by a timeless soul named Alden—Ben can head back to an important age in his life when he believes his destiny is still up in the air. He can alter his future to what was originally intended. However, he soon discovers much more than he ever anticipated and his faith is tested as his plans to “win the girl” do not go accordingly.
Time Everlasting is for anyone who has ever wondered if the circumstances that make up one's life are destiny, or merely random coincidences that ultimately mean nothing. Readers will ask themselves whether they would change their own—or someone else's--past if they had the ability to travel back in time? Should they? Is there a force guiding our destiny as we live? And if so, what role is left for free will to play?
Think you already know how you would answer those questions? After reading Time Everlasting, you might think differently. Then again, this story may just reinforce what you already believe to be true.
