Quirky Adventure Tale

"This was a super fun, contained story in a much larger world. If you're looking to give Brandon Sanderson a try but find it a bit intimidating to jump into Stormlight or Mistborn this is a perfect novel for you. Tress will take you on a quirky fantasy adventure on a strange planet that will keep you entertained the whole way through."

A good book to start reading Brandon Sanderson series

"I really enjoyed reading this book. I have never read a book written by Brandon Sanderson before and thought that since this book was a stand alone it was a good choice to start with. I was only investing my time in one book and if I didn't like it it wouldn't be much time lost. Happily I truly did enjoy reading this novel and I wished it had more books to continue the story further. I am now looking into his other series to decide which one I would like to start reading."

A Great Intro to Brandon Sanderson

"This was my first Brandon Sanderson novel and based on this one, I’ll be reading more! This book is part of his Cosmere universe but is a stand alone, so you can jump into it at any time. The story is whimsical, beautiful and unique. Sanderson’s writing keeps you intrigued and makes it easy to visualize his unique world. I’ll be recommending this to many people."

Tress is great

"Brandon never disappoints and it was a nice change of pace compared to his bigger Cosmere works, enjoyable as a standalone even without having read any of his other works, but if you have there are certainly references. I enjoyed jumping into this story and finished quite quickly."
